Senior Master Prazer began his martial arts training in 1991 and started assisting classes as a 14-year-old Yellow Belt in Pensacola, FL. By the time he was a Blue Belt, he was teaching classes independently.
Growing up, Sr. Master Prazer faced challenges, including poverty and abuse. He was fostered by his instructors, the late Tom Nichols and Cathy Sartori, for a time. Before martial arts, bullying affected his confidence, but training transformed him. As he tells students: ‘Size doesn’t matter when you know what you’re doing.’
One of his greatest successes was proposing to his wife, Mrs. Master Prazer, at a tournament in front of hundreds. They have been married since 05/14/2005!
Today, Sr. Master Prazer is a dedicated family man. His wife, Master Gena Prazer (6th Degree Black Belt), co-owns and instructs with him. They consider their cousin Caroline their first daughter, who, with her husband Abib Zoroghlian, has blessed them with their granddaughter, Eden. Their other children are Robbie, Colby, & Kenzie.
Sr. Master Prazer credits his journey to his faith in Jesus Christ, giving all glory to his Savior.
Mrs. Master Prazer started martial arts at 15 in Savannah, GA, under Sr. Master Jim Richard. By 16, she was leading the younger children’s program.
Raised in a loving home with three brothers, she grew up with strong family values. Her ability to teach and manage groups is exceptional, making her an asset to martial arts and beyond.
She helps lead her daughter Kenzie’s AHG Troop (American Heritage Girls), serves on the board of Archers Homeschool Group, and homeschools her children.
Mrs. Master Prazer attributes her success to her faith in Jesus Christ, grateful for her upbringing in a God-fearing home.
