My husband and son joined BBMA a couple of years ago and after hearing how much they enjoyed the classes and watching them at graduations, I joined too. The atmosphere at Built By Martial Arts is phenomenal because they not only focus on physical discipline and self- control, they focus on strong character. The staff and instructors are well trained and really care about each student. I recommend their academy to everyone who asks about our experience.

This is an extremely honest place. I'm a WTF (Kukkiwon) style 1st Dan and here at Fort Gordon for three months for a school (I'm Army Reserve). I was looking to continue my training, and while he COULD have taken my money, the master sat me down and we talked about it.....and mutually came up with the decision that it was better for me to look elsewhere because of the differences in the GTMA style and WTF style. Plus, I would not be starting as a black belt with them.. for a temporary time it just didn't make sense...and instead of making a quick buck, he pointed me to a couple of other schools. I say if you're starting from scratch, and the location's convenient for you, check this guy out. He won't steer you wrong.

We started with the Basic Program three months ago, and my daughter (8 years old) has since started the Leadership Program. She has a dream of being a black belt, and I love seeing her work daily toward that long-term goal. She loves the instructors and is eager to learn more and work on her technique, so she's nearly always excited about going, even though it's often three times a week. I've been really impressed with the talent among the instructors, and I love the focus on discipline, honor, and respect. What they are teaching at Built By Martial Arts is echoing what we teach at home, so it's been a great fit for my daughter, and for us as parents. We look forward to watching her progress, both in martial arts and in her self-confidence, in the years to come. Thanks!

Mr. Prazer, Congratulations on achieving your 5th Degree Black Belt! What a wonderful accomplishment. And it's a great example for the junior students about setting and working toward your goals. Thanks for the great example you give Zach, and for the guidance and encouragement, you & Mrs. Prazer provide. You're both terrific at what you do and we're happy to be a part of it.

Built by Martial Arts is the best! They instill confidence, self-respect, and discipline in their students. More importantly, they have built a family of students and parents who help and encourage one another and have lasting friendships.

If you wish to learn how to defend yourself, want to get in shape, teach your kids how to show respect, or just wish to learn Taekwondo, this is the place to do it. The Prazers are such a great teachers that what they teach you will stick with you. They are wonderful at showing respect back to people who show them respect.

This is a fantastic, friendly and supportive place to learn, for both children and adults! There are many adult learners also, so I don't feel awkward about taking classes here. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. Highly recommend!

We searched around and decided on Built By Martial Arts. I have been so pleased. My son is now 7 and has learned so much in the areas of discipline, respect , hard work and soooo many other areas. The leaders are AMAZING. They truly care about me and my family!!!

I went here when I was younger, went from a white belt all the way up to a 1st degree black belt. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend this place!!
